So it’s been a while since I posted…I’ve been ever so busy, and just completely lost track of this blog, but you know, I’m going to attempt to keep this up dated (she says for now).
Anyway, I think it’s about time I got some of my artwork up on here…Well as soon as I get my work back as it’s being moderated at the moment. I do have a lot of thoughts wondering in my head, I’ll have to share them sometime, once I’m more organised…So stay tuned, I’m back and I have a lot to get off my chest.
Music. There are so many cliché things I could say right now but I will restrain. I do listen to all sorts (take a look at my facebook profile if you’d like to know what I listen to, there’s too many to name). I am constantly listening to some sort of music, what ever genre it may be, and it always gives me this uplifting feeling, something indescribable really. I am always on the look out (or hear out should I say) for something new to listen to, I tend to discover bands before they ‘hit the mainstream’. For example a few months ago I came across musician James Blake, and now all of a sudden he’s been nominated for a BRIT Award, he didn’t win but still….His cover of ‘Limit To Your Love’ by Feist is simple, yet so powerful. He’s ever so talented for his age. Can’t wait for his album to come out.
So it’s Saturday, which means that I spent today at the Ricoh Arena to support my beloved Coventry City Football Club.
In case you didn’t know (which most of you won’t) I have been supporting them from a young age as they are my home team and it has been something that runs through the family since the 40’5/50’s which I think is really cool that I am carrying it on! We didn’t win…But we didn’t loose.
But anyway to my main point….Football for me has lost something, I can’t quite put my finger on exactly what it is that’s missing right now, but I may discover by the end of this post.
Well you may or may not have read that I am an art student (also studying English Literature and Media), currently in my last year of sixth form/college, and have been working on a few projects as part of my coursework, still a working progress…
I do plan to post photos and things soon once I have retrieved my work from school, which I will be needing for some university interviews coming up, so I should be able to show a few snaps of some stuff I’ve done here and there.
I’d like to share some of my sources of inspiration to you as well, I think it would be nice to show how my work has developed so hopefully you understand it better.
I don’t feel as if it would be right to describe my work to you as of yet, I think it would be better to see photos then I can explain it, I don’t want to misguide, I tend to do that sometimes by accident.

I am an art student, I do art, I make things, I can also be very vague at times.
So, I’ve decided to start a blog for a few reasons being:
1.) A way to show the world (I am aiming a bit high there, maybe just a few people…Or even one, it would still be appreciated) some of my artwork. It would be interesting to see what people think about it and to see whether anyone, besides myself, that actually understands it. All criticism is welcome!
2.) It would be nice to shout out my interests and thoughts once in a while, in hope that someone is actually listening to me for a change. It’s nice to share your opinion to strangers, it can be quite satisfying, I must say. I like to ramble on about nothing as you can tell, at least with this blog you can choose whether or not to sit and read.
3.) Looking at other peoples blogs has made me want to make one of my own, there are some pretty interesting people out there, I’d like to find some more.
Never really sure what to write, I guess the first post is the hardest, I’m still getting used to the technicalities but I’m getting there. I would like to keep this regularly updated but I can’t make any promises on that because I am sure to break it unfortunately. However, I do plan to upload a few photographs sooner or later, once I’ve got my act together!
I can guarantee that I will look back on this post and think what the hell am I on about?! But for now, it will do.
P.S. It could be worse… I could have rambled on a lot more but I’ll save my words for other posts.
